We are a team of independent ski instructors offering private ski lessons, off-piste guiding, and ski touring in the Alps. Our specialist instructors are here to help you make the most of every day on the mountain, guiding you to where the best snow and conditions can be found every day.

With several decades of combined experience, the iSki team knows the vast Espace Killy ski area inside out, especially for off-piste and backcountry skiing. From thrilling gravity runs and steep couloirs to tree skiing, ski touring, and the extensive network of groomed pistes, we aim to help you get the very best out of your alpine ski trip.

Didier

Didier is a seasoned expert, former trainer at ENSA, and chief instructor at UCPA centers in Tignes, Val d’Isère, and Les Deux Alpes. Passionate about off-piste and telemark skiing, he excels in refining technique.

Phillipe

A highly experienced instructor, Philippe has extensive knowledge of the Espace Killy domaine. He specialises in off-piste skiing, ski touring, and the MetaSki system, helping skiers overcome blocks with scientific techniques.

Chris

Chris has 30+ years of skiing experience in the Tarentaise Valley, specialising in Espace Killy, Paradiski, Sainte-Foy, and the Three Valleys. He focuses on technique, safety, and mountain knowledge.

Melvin

Melvin is a dynamic instructor skilled in freeride, freestyle, snowboarding, sailing, wakeboarding, and speed-riding. With a passion for both winter and summer sports, he’s a versatile asset to the team.

Kiera

Kiera manages planning, emails, and phone traffic while also being an excellent skier. Often seen tailing off-piste groups, she offers assistance when needed – but mostly enjoys the experience herself.

Melvin Chabault

Melvin est un jeune moniteur dynamique qui a pratiquement grandi sur des skis ou sur l'eau. Moniteur de ski diplômé et passionné de freeride et de freestyle, Melvin est aussi à l'aise sur des skis que sur un snowboard. L'été, il quitte la montagne pour la côte atlantique où il est également moniteur diplômé de voile et de wakeboard. C'est aussi un speed-rider talentueux... bref, il n'y a pas de fin à ses talents et il est un grand atout pour l'équipe.

Chris Harrop

Chris has been living and skiing professionally in the Tarentaise Valley for over 30 years. His main playground is the Espace Killy, but for those wishing to explore further afield, he is also very familiar with the Paradiski area, Sainte-Foy, and the Three Valleys.

Hugely experienced, his mission is to find the best conditions suitable for your ability and safety, and to help improve your technique and mountain knowledge along the way.

His mountain talents have clearly also been passed down to the next generation – after just three years as a member of the French ski mountaineering team, Chris’s daughter Emily has brought home the World Cup two years in a row.

Philippe Clement

Après une première vie « classique », (études universitaires puis job aux USA suivis de postes en France pour des sociétés américaines) Philippe s’est enfin décidé de suivre sa vrai passion – le ski. Ayant toujours fait du ski en compétition en club, ensuite à l’université et même en équipe militaire il a pu passer son diplôme de moniteur sans trop de difficultés. Il s’est spécialisé depuis en ski hors-piste et progressivement à la randonnée autour de Val d’Isère.

Il utilise avec d’excellents résultats une méthode d’enseignement issue d’observations scientifiques : « Metaski » développée par un ingénieur passionné, parfait pour aider les skieurs qui manquent de confiance ou ceux pour qui l’enseignement traditionnel n’a pas donné les résultats souhaités.

Didier Moreau

Formateur à l’ENSA (École Nationale de Ski et d’Alpinisme), et ancien Moniteur Chef à l’UCPA responsable de la formation de jeunes moniteurs, Didier est sans conteste le meilleur technicien de l’équipe, recherchant constamment à affiner sa technique et s’adapter aux nouveaux matériels. Bien que sa principale activité au sein de iSki soit le hors piste, sa passion et son talent se révèlent lorsqu’il a l’opportunité d’enseigner et quel que soit le niveau. Il est également un extraordinaire « télémarkeur » (activité qu’il enseigne avec maestria) et guide parfois ses clients hors piste en télémark.
